An RSO is considered active when they have complied with all Center for Student Development, Student Government Association and university policies and procedures, and applicable state and federal laws.
- At all times the RSO must have a minimum of ten undergraduate members, have leadership positions filled by full time undergraduates and maintain a majority of undergraduate members.
- All RSO financial transactions are conducted through the university accounting system, not outside bank accounts. RSOs must adequately safeguard cash, equipment, and other assets, and inform the Center for Student Development promptly of any loss.
The SGA may impose additional requirements and may also freeze the activities and accounts of an RSO that does not comply with their requirements
